He was predeceased by: his father Joe E. Meriwether, Sr.; his grandparents, Ellis W. Meriwether, Laura B. Killebrew-Meriwether, Clinton Hudson and Moluster Cotton-Hudson; his girlfriend Tanette Jones; and his close friends, Johnny McDonald, Richard Young and Ricky Clark.
He is survived by: his mother Bertha Louise Hollingsworth (Elijah); his siblings, Gawana Meriwether and Joe Meriwether, Jr. (Krista); his former wife Michelle Wright-Meriwether; and his nephew Joe E. Meriwether III (Lavina). He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center (3400 S Webster St, Kokomo, IN 46902). The military honors will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
