He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lewis and Gladys Ruth Boles (Minton); his wife Lillian Irene Murphy (Cunningham); his brothers, Bud Boles (Betty) and Sid Boles (Bennie); his daughter Vickie Swing; and his brother-in-law Lee Perkins.
He is survived by: his children, Gayle Smith of Kokomo, IN, Allen Boles of Florida and Marc Boles (Shannon) of New York; his stepchildren, Jackie, Ron and Barry; and his sister Bunny Perkins of Russiaville, IN. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
