He is survived by: his wife Betsy (Betsy); his children, Elizabeth Schmidt of Lafayette, IN, Rev. Daniel Schmidt (Elizabeth) of Ixonia, WI, Laura Schroeder (Thomas) of Novi, MI and Rev. David Schmidt (Kelly) of Little Chute, WI.; and his sister Ruth Ann Schmidt of Lafayette, IN. He is also survived by his grandchildren, his 9 great grandchildren.
