Sharon L. Morkal Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 24, 2025, at the age of 89, Sharon L. Morkal of Kokomo, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Rodger and Helen Rodger (Peterson); her husband Ross Carlton Morkal; and her brothers, Michael Rodger and Bruce Rodger.
She is survived by: her children, Holley Scholtes (Rick), David Morkal (Kathy), Sally Gardner (Patty), Alison Bowman (Bruce) and Keith Morkal (Suzy); her grandchildren, Alex Scholtes, Annie Young (Alex), Peregrine Morkal-Williams, Sam Morkal-Williams (Fonda), Lerin Palmer (Andy), Nathan Morkal (Kellie), Brianne Morkal and Clair Gardner; her great grandchildren, Noah Young, Peyton Young and Teagan Young; and her sister-in-law Robin Abbott.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer (705 E Southway Blvd, Kokomo, IN 46902). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Sharon's name to the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer.
