She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hale and Edith Hale (Curtis); her husband Robert Leighty; her daughter Tina; her adoptive son Toby Leighty; and her siblings, Rex Hale and Sue Redding.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Corbit and Tamberly Cate (Rodney); her adoptive daughter Debbie Smith; and her siblings, Bill Hale (Shirley) and Betty Smith (Richard). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stout & Son Russiaville Chapel (200 E Main St, Russiaville, IN 46979). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Stout & Son Funeral Home (200 E Main St, Russiaville, IN 46979).
