She is survived by: her husband James Alan Lawson; her daughter Samantha King (Godwin); and her grandchildren, Ayden King, Arlonzo King Anderson, Isiah Howard, Joshua Jones, Joseph Aaron, Joshua Aaron and Jacob Aaron. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
