He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack F. Thompson and Lillian E. Thompson (Sissy Daily); his nieces, Angela Abbendrouth and Sadie Townsend; his wife Terri Thompson of Kokomo; his children, Missy Wilson of Palm Bay, Florida and Daniel; his daughter-in-law Alexa Thompson (Gelo) of Melbourne, Florida; his grandchildren, Silas, Lorena Tetens, America, Nicolas Cassata, Lilly Tetens, Evelyn Thompson and Claire Thompson; his great grandchildren, Theodore Cassata and Kamie Rose Tetens; and his siblings, Teresa Veach, Matthew, Natasha Thompson (Wolf), Liz Cooper, Anne, John Zience, Mark, Betsy Thompson (Rees), Susan Thompson, Renie, Harold Canady, Mary Nell and Tom Trentanovie. He was also cherished by two children, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nineteen nieces and nephews, 23 great-nieces and nephews, 28 aunts and uncles, and many, many cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Kokomo Memorial Park (1300 E North St, Kokomo, IN 46901). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Mabel and Harry's (3813 N. County Road 80 W, Kokomo 46914).
