She was predeceased by: her parents, George Clifford Schoon and Freda Schoon (Hack); her former husband William "Bill" Wilson; her husband Sam Lawson; her brother Merle Schoon; her sister-in-law Phyllis Schoon-Misch; her nephew David Schoon; and her great-niece Amanda Schoon.
She is survived by: her brother Donald Schoon (Carolyn) of Kouts; her nieces and nephews, John Schoon (Anna), Bruce Schoon, Russell Schoon (Nancy), Kim Haggerty (John), Rhonda Gingerich (Brent) and Matthew Schoon (Lisa); and her grandson Harry "Shorty" Williams (Janet).
