She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Batchelor and Almina Batchelor (Sharp); her siblings, Richard, Thomas, Jack Batchelor and Dorothy Brown; and her in-laws, Elmo and Margaret Hefner.
She is survived by: her spouse Glenn Hefner; her daughters, Joyce Mattoon (Lance), Glenda Hopp (Fred), Roxanne Lee (Steve) and Robbin Yergler (Greg); her grandchildren, Michelle Charlton (Brian), Robert DeVaul (Anna), Jessica Bernfield (Kyle), Ashley Wattuhewa (Raji) and Winston Yergler (Olivia); her great grandchildren, Emma, Logan Charlton, Brayden, Ariana, Caston Bernfield, Annika Wattuhewa and Monroe Yergler; and her brother-in-law Roy Hefner (Marge). She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Kosanke Funeral Home (309 S Main St, Kouts, IN 46347). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the LaCrosse First United Methodist Church (11 N Indiana Ave, La Crosse, IN 46348). A burial will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at the Graceland Cemetery.
