He was predeceased by: his father Jack G. Boyd; his wife Nancy M. Szopa; his siblings, Robert Boyd, Theresa Goral and Nancy Myers; and his stepfather Bill Marks.
He is survived by: his children, Erin Boyd of Michigan and Dan Boyd of Kouts; his mother MaryAnne Marks (Glinski) of Hanna; and his siblings, Jack Boyd (Cecelia) and Kim Husmann (Lance). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kosanke Funeral Home (309 S Main St, Kouts, IN 46347). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery (402 E Indiana Ave, Kouts, IN 46347).
