She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Black and Stella Black (Garrison); her husband Melvin Johnson; her sons, Bruce and Terry Johnson; her siblings, Jeanette Carey, Carl Black and Carol Black; and her pet Leo.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Corbett of Indianapolis, Cynthia Swanson (Brian) of La Porte and Keith Johnson (Judy) of La Porte; her grandchildren, Sheila Ryczek (Kevin), Byron Corbett and Kayla Johnson; and her great grandchild Ryczek.
