He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy and Mary L. Crone (Garrett); and his brothers, James and Robert Crone. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Crone (Potrzebowski); and his daughter Laura (James Lewis).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (101 N Church St, Westville, IN 46391). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
