He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Keene and Frances Keene (Tomaszewski); his wife Kathie Keene (Menzie); and his siblings, Carl Keene, Richard Keene, Jacqueline Bilka and JoAnne Steele.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Janie Hagenow (Christopher) of Noblesville, IN and David Harrell (Darcie) of Ashville, NC; his grandchildren, Zachary Ulmer (Maria), Kate Ulmer, Maya Harrell and Maxwell Harrell; and his great grandchildren, Elliott and Everett Ulmer.
