David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick "Fritz" Porter and Marguerite Porter; and his daughter Holly Skivers. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Porter; his children, Heidi Speidel (Ben), Chris Skivers and Kim Porter (Bill); and his grandchildren, Rick Lewis Jr., Nicole Lewis, Justin Gring and Jacob Skivers. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and dear friends.
