We bid farewell to Edmund J Kuta of La Porte, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 24, 2025 at the age of 85. Edmund touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Kuta and Carrie Kuta; his wife Pat; his son Douglas Kuta; and his siblings, Geraldine Wedow, Helen Pointon, Frank Kuta, Richard Kuta and Joseph Kuta.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Bailey Fitzgibbon (Josh) of Greenwood, Indiana; his great grandchildren, Chloe and Declan Bonds; his daughter-in-law Elaine Kuta of La Porte, Indiana; his niece Jennifer Thompson (Andrew) of La Porte, Indiana; and his siblings, Evelyn Mick of La Porte, Dolores Dusseau of La Porte, Ilene Pointon of La Porte, Indiana, Eugene Kuta of Tennessee, Thomas Kuta of Michigan City and Stanley Kuta of La Porte, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home (1117 Indiana Ave, La Porte, IN 46350). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (201 Bach St, La Porte, IN 46350).
