She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Cook and Ramona Cook (Purdy); her husband William J. Veatch; her son Russell Veatch; and her siblings, Dan Cook, Bill Cook, Guyla Riley, Cherie Lockhart and Willow Hammond.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Hignite of La Porte, Robert Veatch (Cindy) of La Porte, Rodger Veatch (Linda) of La Porte and Randall Veatch (Debbie) of La Porte. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
