She was predeceased by: her parents, Stefan Wawok and Rozalia Wawok (Minzik); her husband Kurt Macher; her stepson Dennis Kurt Macher; her son-in-law Bradley A Emerick; her grandsons, Brian B Emerick and Nicholas A Wawok; her siblings, Joseph, Edward, Walter, Emanual, Jeanie and Irene Wawok; and her brother-in-law John Duis.

She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Wawok (Dorreen) of La Porte, Rosemarie Emerick of La Porte, Cynthia Hycner (James) of Michigan City, James Macher of La Porte and Robert Macher (Chris Kirk) of La Porte; her stepdaughter Debra Kuspa (Victor) of South Bend; her siblings, Sophie Zook of La Porte and Casimir Wawok (Jane) of Fishers; her sisters-in-law, Lillian Wawok of Chesterton and Hilda Duis; and her grandchildren, Drew Renz (Carla) of Kingsford Heights, Brent Renz (Emily Childers) of Trail Creek, Kayla Miller (Shawn) of La Porte, Heather Mummert (Kyle) of Muncie, Hannah Gerard (Charles) of Logansport, Ryan Basinger (Alexandria) of La Porte, Brenna Ransburg (Cody) of Howe, Brad Basinger of South Bend, Peggy Emerick of La Porte, Kenneth Emerick (Carol) of Pewaukee, WI and Paige Wawok of Valparaiso. She is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
