He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard A. Rice and Marie E. Rice (Johnston); his wife Marjorie "Marge" Vance; and his brother Bill Rice. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Block (Gregg), Julie Rice Zurek (David Zurek) and Linda West (Jeff); his grandchildren, Lindsey Snyder (Kalani), Jeff Block (Thea), Josh Ragusa, Ryan Zurek (Elizabeth) and Kevin Zurek (Kimberly); his great grandchildren, Rosemary, Damien, Emery Snyder, Linus, Henrietta, Mabel Block, Daniel, Matthew Zurek, Carly and Zachary Zurek; and his brother Kenneth Rice.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park-Joliet.
