He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry J. Vardaman and Mildred Vardaman (Hatfield); his wife Edna Lee Richardson; his children, Harold Mohler and Kay Cooper; his siblings, Shirley Summerville, Bob Vardaman, Phylis Jean Mansbridge, Ross Vardaman Sr., Mary Roach and Darlene Kuta; and his grandson Jimmy Cooper.
He is survived by: his daughters, Charlotte McLeod, Letha Fusko of Mt Pleasant, WI and Shirley Gunter of Dahlgren, IL; and his grandchildren, Frank, Donald, Thomas, Julie, Elizabeth, Gertrude, James and Charles. He is also survived by great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
