She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Schoof and Annabelle Schoof (Rahfelt); the father of her children Dean Harris; her husband Tony Hadella; her siblings, Darlene, Dorothy, Inky and Al; and her nephew David.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Hays (Dan) of Bloomington, IN and Marty Harris (Stacey) of La Porte; and her grandchildren, Gabby Harris of Chicago, Jack Harris of La Porte, Michael Hays of Bloomington and Macy Hays of Bloomington.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center (2900 Monroe St, La Porte, IN 46350). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the La Porte Missionary Church, 104 E. 18th Street, La Porte, IN 46350.
