She was predeceased by: her father George Dean Stombaugh Sr.; her son Jeffery Michiaels Sr.; her stepfather Raymond Zeimet; and her grandson Seth Patrick Qualls. She is survived by: her mother Norma Jean Zeimet (Rheinholtz); her children, Jody Strain (John), Marvin Michiaels III and Amy MacLeod (Michael); her siblings, Diana Hamilton (Richard), George Stombaugh Jr. (Lynn) and Pamela Koehn (Jerry); her grandchildren, Joshua, Jeffery, Jamie, Jessica, Dalton, Johnny and Austin; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Carter, Annistyn, Gracelynn, Mason, Alice, Jackson and Asher. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory (247 W Johnson Rd, La Porte, IN 46350). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
