She was predeceased by: her parents, Kelly Cooper and Lorraine Cooper (Elliott); and her sister Linda Joseph of La Porte, IN.. She is survived by: her children, Kim Owens (Robert) of Greenwood, SC, Chris Saboski of Portage, MI and Andy Saboski (Jessica) of La Porte, IN.; her grandchildren, Andi and Matt Saboski; and her sister Rebecca Johnson (Dennis) of Fairfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the La Porte County Library to honor her lifelong belief in the power of reading.
