With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kevin J. Martinsen of La Porte, Indiana, who passed away on March 1, 2022 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Martinsen and Barbara Martinsen (New). He is survived by: his wife Susan (Ekstrom); his pets, Abby Rose and Haley; his brothers, Greg Martinsen (Carolyn) of Chicago and Scott Martinsen (Beverly) of La Porte, Indiana; his siblings' children, Joseph Martinsen (Jackie), Meghan Jongkind (Joe), Valerie Seifert (Jason), Ben Martinsen (Alex), Jason Vines, Nicholas Ginther (Siobhan), Tod Martinsen (Jessica), Jason Martinsen (Adrienne), James Murphy (Karin) and Rob Murphy; and his sister-in-law Nancy Murphy.

Memorial contributions may be made to the La Porte County Small Animal Shelter, 2855 W. State Road 2, La Porte, Indiana 46350.
