He is survived by: his wife Tracy Thiede; his sons, Michael Thiede (Magan) of Valparaiso, IN and Alex Thiede of Michigan City, IN; his stepchildren, Luke Hayter (Victoria) of La Porte, IN and Tori Hayter (Adam McGovern) of La Porte, IN; his granddaughters, Lilly and Mackinley; his brother Allen Thiede (Terry); his grandfather Warren Thiede (Dorine) of Michigan City, IN; his sister Rev. Pamela Thiede of Merrillville, IN; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Thiede of Pearland, TX, Eric Pressel of La Porte, IN and Andrea Wiley (John) of Fayetteville, NC. He is also survived by 7 nieces, several great nieces and nephews, and many, many beloved friends.
