She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Goethals and Verneatha Goethals (Emigh); her husband Elmer R. Szilagyi; her siblings, Bob, Jack Goethals and Evelyn Kennedy; and her grandson-in-law Tony Farrell.
She is survived by: her children, Bob Szilagyi (Vicki), Bonnie Jean Rybicki (Larry), Cathy Butiste (Steve) and Janet Cole (Al); her grandchildren, Leslie Farrell, Karen Rybicki, Tom Rybicki (Kelly), Joe Butiste (Shirley), Steve Butiste (Ali), Matt Cole (Lindsey), April Szilagyi (Paul Battista), Zach Szilagyi (Michele), Adam Szilagyi (Meng), Seth Szilagyi, Morgan Mrozinski, Nate Mrozinski (Amber), Erik Mrozinski (Brooklyn) and Jessica Spiess; and her sister Pat VanDierendonck.
