He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Fara and Carol Fara (Striegel). He is survived by: his wife Deb; his stepchildren, Nichole Sheaffer (Chris) of La Porte, IN and Matt Sheaffer (Jen) of Berthoud, CO; his grandchildren, Arnica of Colorado Springs, CO, Dylan and Carter of Berthoud, CO.; his brothers, Dan Fara (Dot) and Tom Fara (Theresa); and his stepbrother Mark Martin (Karen). He is also survived by extended family and lifelong friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel (1117 Indiana Ave, La Porte, IN 46350).
