It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rodger Dale LaGard of La Porte, Indiana, born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away at the age of 76, on December 24, 2023. He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond LaGard and Meridel LaGard (McLane); his siblings, Kathleen McMillian, Marilyn Humphreys, Raymond A. LaGard and Frank L. LaGard; and his half-brothers, Charles Moore and Jerry Moore.

He is survived by : his sons, Rodney LaGard (Tammy) of La Porte and Thomas LaGard (Amber) of Valparaiso; his stepson Joseph Smith of La Porte; and his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Mallorie LaGard of La Porte, Benjamin, Hudson and Hazel LaGard of Valparaiso. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
