We announce the death of Rodney Allen Day of La Porte, Indiana, who passed away on October 1, 2026, at the age of 69. Rodney will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Laura Mae Day (Goodson); and his brothers, Todd A. Day and Mark J. Day. He is survived by: his wife Tina Cardenas; his father Robert Joseph Day; his daughter Destanee Norman; and his grandchildren, Mia, Ava, Ali and Colton.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Street Church of Christ (1616 I St, La Porte, IN 46350). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
