He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Steigely and Faye Steigely (Grassmyer); his children, Meghan and Adam Steigely; his siblings, Julie Kampf and Mark Steigely; and his brothers-in-law, Gary Travis and Jeff Parsons.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sara Kling (Dustin) of La Porte, Rachel Steigely (Mitch Anthony) of Essexville, MI and Emily Conner (Dylan) of Lenoir, NC; his grandsons, Jeff and Carson Kling; his siblings, Vicki Travis of La Porte, Laurie Parsons of La Porte, Joyce Christenson (Arthur) of La Porte and Guy Steigely of Chicago, IL; his brother-in-law David Kampf of La Porte; his former spouses, Carrie Rehlander Lambert of La Porte and Kim Brandmair of Bay City, MI; his aunt Pam Lang of La Porte; his uncles, Dale Grassmyer of Tulsa, OK and Norman Steigely of Kewanna, IN; and his nieces and nephews, Brandi Glanders (AJ), Dylan Travis, Allison Burke (Kelly), Cristina Martin (Mike), Darcie Simpkins (Adam), Samantha Christensen (Danny), Tiffany Parsons, Michael Parsons and Robert Rivera.
