She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schindler and Georgiana Schindler (Green); and her husband Alan R. Steffy. She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Overmyer (Rob) of La Porte and Jennifer Brettin (Paul) of Rolling Prairie; her grandsons, Nick, Tyler Overmyer, Jacob and Noah Brettin; her close friend John Dudeck; and her siblings, Sharon Kreft of Michigan City, Joe Schindler (Shawn) of La Porte and Michele Belzowski of Bentleyville. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
