He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank James and Ferrie Belle Purcell (Groves); his wife Martha Jane Alexander; and his sister Patricia Kuta. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Thompson (Andrew) of La Porte; his grandsons, Collin and Preston Thompson of La Porte; and his nephew Doug Kuta. He is also survived by 2 brothers-in-law; 6 sisters-in-law; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
