She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendall Wingard and Helen Wingard; her husband James Lee Hickman; her children, William Knoll and Peggy Knoll; and her sisters, Julie Hinds and Debbie Gurley.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ford (Tim) of Knox, IN, Brenda Zirzow (Bruce) of LaPorte, IN and Steven Hickman (Tammi) of Franklin, IN; and her daughter-in-law Peggy Knoll of Mustang, OK..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Haverstock Funeral Home & Cremation Services (602 Maple Ave, La Porte, IN 46350). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church; 1225 Michigan Ave; LaPorte, IN 46350 or the donor's choice.
