He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Raymond and Elsie Liebert Hornickel; his wife Virginia Russel Hornickel; and his sisters, Shirley Hornickel and Arlene Ferber.
He is survived by: his children, Patti McRae (Roger) of Laconia, Garry Hornickel (Laura) of Laconia, Mark Hornickel of Laconia, Terry Hornickel (Karol) of Laconia and Sherry Boston (Steve) of Laconia; his grandchildren, Joshua McRae (Callie), Chad McRae (Mandy), Amanda Bright (Darin), Dustin Hornickel (Beth), Brian Hornickel (Bryce), Brittany Sprigler (Corey), Brad Hornickel, Morgan Boston (Erin) and Jason Boston (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Austyn McRae, Reese, Rhett McRae, Jaley, Isla, Jovi Bright, Mason, Maddie, Miles Hornickel, Axel, Knox Hornickel, Wynston Sprigler and Jaxon Boston; his pet Coco; his siblings, Gaye Hornickel Wright (John Gordinier) and Mike Hornickel; and his caregivers, Jennifer, Emily, Hannah, Trinity, Laura, Renee, Abby and Emma.
