James R. Ferree Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of James R. Ferree of Laconia, Indiana is shared. James, born on February 29, 1932, passed away on September 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Manford Ferree and Mae Gunterman Ferree; his wife Lena Mae Kingsley Ferree; his brothers, Bill, Bob and Clyde Ferree; and his half-brother Tom Ferree.
He is survived by: his children, Kenny Ferree (Jamie), Donnie Ferree (Norma), Ronnie Ferree (Lacy) and Connie Hennings (Wayne); and his half-brothers, Larry and John Ferree. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home (201 N Oak St, Corydon, IN 47112). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Rehoboth Cemetery Foundation.
