She was predeceased by: her parents, John Williams and Irene Williams (Hensley); her former husband Roger Gibson; her son Tony Shelton; her stepdaughter Cami Miles; her siblings, Gale Gibson and Roger Williams; and her brother-in-law Gary Gibson.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Carpenter; her children, Jerry Shelton (Andrew), Angel Thornburg (Ralph), Jamie Gibson, Susan Conkright (Chris) and Mandy Thomas (Jody); her stepchildren, Shelly Myers (Darren), Joe Krutzsch (Staci) and Brad Carpenter (Pam); and her siblings, Bonnie Wray (Greg), Brenda Lighty, Jonna Davis (Travis), Kim Rice (Nate), Sue Woodall (Max), Kenny Williams (Mary Kay), Joey Williams (Becky), Robert Williams (Nikki), Gerald Williams (Linda), Mark Williams (Tammy) and David Williams (Patti). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
