He was predeceased by: his father Gary A. McDaniel; and his grandparents, Richard, Mary Franklin and Dan McDaniel. He is survived by: his mother Bridget McDaniel (Franklin); his daughter Alayna McDaniel; his sister Natalie Stevens (Ricky); his grandmother Vivian McDaniel; his fiancé Marrissa Parker; and his partner's sons, Max of Lafayette and Liam of Lafayette. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
