He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Wireman and Frances Wireman (Puckett); and his brothers, Willie Wireman, Jr. and Morgan Wireman. He is survived by: his wife Janet Smallfelt of Lafayette; his sons, Rex M. Wireman (Denise) of Lafayette and Mark A. Wireman (Mary Jane) of Lafayette; and his siblings, Farish Wireman (Josephine) of Rensselaer, Martha J. Patton of Rensselaer, Homer C. Wireman of Rensselaer, Malva D. Stevens (Mark) of Francesville and Rena Pikus of Mentor, OH.. He is also survived by four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
