He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Perry and Orpha Agnes Kaufman (Rodabough); and his spouse Gail Jean Kaufman (Smith). He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Severson (Mark) of Nerstrand, MN, Ruth Kain (David) of Asheville, NC, Sarah Kaufman (Brian Dodds) of Southington, CT. and Eugene Kaufman (Jenny Sera) of Logansport, IN; and his grandchildren, Felicia Lawrence (Lincoln), Andrew Murrell (Samantha), Aldon Severson (Brittany), Jordan Rose (James), Rick Kain (Sarah), Samantha Kain (Luke Huls), Perry Sharp (Mikayla Bedell) and Devinne Murphy (Doug).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Logansport Chapel (1801 Chase Rd, Logansport, IN 46947). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 6:45 PM to 7:00 PM at the Idaville Cemetery (12679 E Stringtown Rd, Idaville, IN 47950).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, Logansport's Tipton Masonic Lodge or Royal Center Masonic Lodge building funds, or - Idaville Cemetery Association.
