He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Flickinger and Dorothy Flickinger Sr. (Cannon); and his son Albert Gordon Flickinger III. He is survived by: his wife Betty (Brown); his daughters, Kathryn Irvin (Joshua), Debbie Talbott (Kelly) and Kelly Dehaai (Terry); his siblings, Gary Flickinger (DeeDee), Paul Flickinger and Joyce Flickinger; and his grandchildren, Justin Corbin (Stevie), Brie Hruska (Nick), Heather Coors, Ashly King, Brandon King (Ivy), Morgan Nikolay (Matt), Keegan Talbott, Stormie Flickinger and Shelbi Cicirelli (Brandon). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Simplicity Funeral Care (1608 Schuyler Ave, Lafayette, IN 47904).
