It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alton C. Hines (Lafayette, Indiana), who passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hines and Vesta Hines (Studebaker). He is survived by: his wife Anita H. Hines (Emmons) of Lafayette; his children, Judi Stanfield (Donn) of Lafayette, Alan Hines (Jill) of Lafayette, Robert "Hank" Hines (Lori) of Lafayette, Alton "Dean" Hines of Kentland and Kathy Palmer of Anderson; his grandchildren, Jason Stanfield (Christina) of Lafayette, Jonathon Stanfield (Laura) of Lafayette, Jordan Funk of Lafayette, Matthew Hines of Lafayette, Hailey Jahn (Hines) of Grand Rapids and Emma Hines of Lafayette; and his sisters, Beverly Harper (Del) of Lafayette and Harriett DeBoy of Lafayette. He is also survived by grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in Alton's name to Brady Lane Church of Christ.
