Andrew James Skaggs Obituary
Andrew "Andy" James Skaggs, 39, of Lafayette, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at his residence.
He was born on September 11, 1983 in Monticello.
He was a graduate of Twin Lakes High School and attended Indiana University. Andy had worked as a machine technician at Caterpillar in Lafayette. Andy was very motivated and intelligent. He was always an honor roll student. He liked sports cars, reading and playing video games. He was very attached to his dog, Rocky.
He is survived by his father and step mother, James W. (Alicia) Skaggs of Lafayette; mother and step father, Marilyn Huber (Rob) Dodson of Pensacola, FL; sister, Meghan (Dale) Moore of Virginia Beach, VA; niece, Abbigayle Skaggs; nephews, Alexzander Moore, and Axzavier Moore.
Visitation will be Monday, May 29 from 11:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 pm at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello. Joseph Bein of the Chalmers Community Church will officiate services.
Burial will follow in the Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
