She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Barche and Marjorie Barche. She is survived by: her brother Melvin; and her daughters, Marjorie and Amanda. She is also survived by two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In her later years she was renowned for her flower arranging, making the flowers for her grandson's wedding, doing flower arrangements as a volunteer at Franciscan Health Lafayette, and donating arrangements as gifts at Glasswater Creek of Lafayette.
