It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arita Sarjent of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tony Nelson and Rosemary Nelson (Clouse); her sisters, Carol, Roseanne and Connie; and her great grandchildren, Grady and Kolsyn Hummel.
She is survived by: her husband Steve Sarjent; her daughters, Laura McDonald (Randy) of Lafayette and Melissa O'Neil (Kam McKinzie) of Lafayette; her half-sister Mary Jo; her grandchildren, Sarah Ginn (Corey), Stephen McDonald (Sarah Kundrat), Drew Justice, Landon Justice, Ali Justice, Erich "Remy" Justice, Colt O'Neil and Maze O'Neil; and her great grandchildren, Jordan, Emilia Ginn, Benson and Cohen Justice.
In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be directed to Good Shepherd Baptist Church.
