She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis A. Schafer and Rosa Schafer; her husband Bernard J. Steiner; and her son Gerald Steiner. She is survived by: her children, Jeanette Adams (James), Phyllis Steiner, Ralph Steiner (Elizabeth), Robert Steiner (Kimberly), Vincent Steiner (Sarah), John Steiner (Robin) and Carl Steiner (Lisa). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A rosary was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 9:15 AM at the St. Mary Cathedral (1212 South St, Lafayette, IN 47901). Viewing was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
