Beverly Ann Shade Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Ann Shade of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Gayler and Anita Gayler (Roe); her husband Jay Frank Shade; and her sister Judy Spear. She is survived by: her children, Lori Erb (Darrall) of Fort Meyers, FL and Kevin Shade (Nikki) of Kokomo; her grandchildren, Stephanie Douglas (Bill), Stacey Douglas (Josh), Joshua Shade, Brent Shade, Shaun Pechin, James Shade and Jessica Pruyne (Eric); and her great grandchildren, Addison, Charlie Ann, Avery, Ava, Paislee, Preslee, Hailee, Cayman, Jensen, Tyler, Chloe, Harley and McKensi.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lafayette Chapel (400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at the Cemetery Meadow View Cemetery (3733 Poland Hill Rd, Lafayette, IN 47909).
Memorial contributions in Beverly's name may be given to Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority.
