Billy Eugene Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2022, at the age of 90, Billy Eugene Smith (Lafayette, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Smith and Minnie Smith (Redden); his sister Taylor; his wife Dixielee Louise Watkins; his siblings, James, Ernest (Pearl), Lewis (Mildred), Dorothy, Nellie and Mary (Virgil); his mother-in-law Geraldine Leach (John); and his brothers-in-law, Basil Watkins, Donald Biddle and Thomas Watkins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jerilyn Smith of Delphi and Kelli Snowberger (Jim) of Delphi; his adoptive daughter Taylor Montes of Stockwell; his nephew Orville "Bubby" Qualters (Sandy) of English, IN; his siblings-in-law, Jim Leach of Lehigh, FL, Donna Biddle of Fairport, NY, Diann Leach (John) of Hubbard, OH and Margie Clayton of Lafayette; and his nieces, Estella and Violet. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren (and their spouses) and 15 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
