With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol L. Kirts of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on March 2, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Layton and Dorothy Layton (Cooper); her grandson Nicholas Goldsberry; and her sister Judy Miller. She is survived by: her husband Charles Kirts; her children, Jodie Goldsberry (Robert) of Lafayette, Charles D. Kirts (Patricia) of West Lafayette, Jill L. Schindler (Scott) of Lafayette and Julie L. Rishel (Allen) of Lafayette; and her niece Debbie Gordon (Greg) of Rossville.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Carol's memory.
