She was predeceased by: her father Ray Baker; her husband Gilbert Wayne Gipson; and her grandson William "Billy" McGill. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn "Sue" Leazenby (Ed) of Delphi, Katherine Gipson of Lafayette and Shawn Gipson (Joanne) of Lafayette; her sister Rosemary Baker; and her grandchildren, Jessica Sanders, Jason Sanders, Natasha Scott, Justin Gipson, Amanda Belange, Travis Hughes and Erica Hughes. She is also survived by nine great – grandchildren.
In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be directed to the Almost Home Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
