He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Clawson and Vesta Clawson (Rhode); his wife Bert; his son Terry Lee Clawson; his siblings, Nellie Zahn, Mary Pinkston, Kathryn Barnes, Barbara Whitaker, Richard, Paul "Junior" and Albert "Butch" Clawson; and his siblings-in-law, Leroy Zahn, Robert Pinkston, Robert Whitaker and Betty Marsh.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Amy Clawson; his siblings, Robert (Anna), Floyd "Tuffy" Clawson (Terri) and Betty Jean Spear; his sister-in-law Tami Clawson; his grandsons, Joshua Clawson (Megan) and Justin Clawson (Becky); his great grandchildren, Braydon, Clayton Clawson and Hayley Fisher; his caregivers, Bill and Julie Harris; and his parakeet Ivory.
In lieu of usual remembrances, memorial contributions may be directed to the Veteran's of Foreign Wars.
