With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Eldon Adkins of Lafayette, Indiana, born in Ambia, Indiana, who passed away on February 23, 2023 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles Eldon Adkins to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father Frank Adkins; and his siblings, Velma Adkins Swanson and William Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Hofer Archer; his children, Judy Comparato (Mike) of Estero, FL, Ron Adkins (Shelly) of Lafayette, Karen Sullivan (Sean) of West Lafayette and Barb Han (Phil) of Lafayette; his sister Carolyn Beck of Fairfield Glade, TN; and his grandchildren, Jenni, Kristen, Heather, Brandon, Matt, Conor and Patrick. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in Charles Adkins name to Brown Street United Methodist Church.
